All prices are in £ sterling. Please note that we are not currently registered for VAT. Delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted. In the unlikely event that the price of a product has been incorrectly advertised, we will contact you to ask whether you wish to proceed with the order at the correct price. If you are not happy to proceed, or we are unable to obtain your instructions, we will cancel the order. We will not be obliged to supply products at the incorrect price.
We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards as well as Paypal. The Christmas Shop uses Worldpay for online credit and debit card transactions. Worldpay is one of the largest and most popular online payment systems in the UK. All payment information is transmitted in secure mode and is encrypted using the highest levels of online security encryption available. All debit/credit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
We deliver all products to destinations within the mainland UK and most products to worldwide destinations.
We cannot guarantee delivery times but we aim to despatch orders on the day after receiving the order. During December 2018, UK orders using our standard delivery will be sent via Royal Mail First Class Post. In the case of a delivery delay by Royal Mail please note that no action can be taken until 14 working days from the despatch date. Please ensure that the full address, including postcode of the recipient, is entered when ordering. We will not be held responsible for items that are not delivered due to incorrect details. No change can be made to the delivery address once the order has been despatched.
Please note that we are unable to offer our enhanced 'next day delivery' service between 14th February 2019 and 5th March 2019.
Items purchased for overseas delivery will be sent via Royal Mail International Signed For service or a suitable alternative. Please allow up to 20 working days for delivery. Overseas delivery charges are based on order value and are calculated during the checkout process. Please ensure that the full address, including postcode of the recipient, is entered when ordering. We will not be held responsible for items that are not delivered due to incorrect details. No change can be made to the delivery address once the order has been despatched. Products ordered for delivery outside the UK maybe subject to import duties & taxes. You will be responsible for these. We have no control over such charges and cannot advise you as to what any such charges may be. Your local customs office should be able to assist. You will be considered to be the importer and it is your responsibility to comply with all laws and regulations of the country to which the products are to be delivered. Cross-border deliveries may be opened and inspected by customs authorities.
The delivery costs for the UK are as follows:
Order value under £20 - delivery £3.99 Order value £20.00 to £49.99 - delivery £4.99. Order value over £50.00 - delivery FREE.
Overseas delivery charges are based on order value and are calculated and advised during the checkout process. Selecting the incorrect delivery option for your destination may cause the cancellation of your order.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Item/s
We make every effort to ensure that your order is delivered correctly. If any of your items are received are faulty, damaged or incorrect, please notify us as soon as possible so we can rectify the problem. You have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to advise us. A refund or a product replacement will be processed as soon as possible once we have been advised of the problem.
If you are a consumer (not a business customer) and your order was not delivered to a business address, you have the right to cancel either all or part of your order and return the products to us. This will apply to your order unless you order goods made to your own specification, perishable goods or goods that by their nature cannot be returned. In accordance with The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (CCR), you must notify us of your intent to return the products within 14 days from the day after you receive your order. From this point all of the products must then be returned back to us within 14 days. The goods must be unused and in a perfect, complete and re-saleable condition (including original product packaging, labels and instruction).
You are responsible for both the cost of the return and the goods themselves whilst in transit until they reach us. Responsibility for loss or damage while in transit shall be borne by you or for you to dispute with your delivery service providers. For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure despatch method which requires a signature upon delivery. Any alternative or replacement items required against a return will not be sent out until we receive the original goods back. The Christmas Shop is not accountable for any item lost whilst they are being returned. You will be responsible for the item/s until they reach us.

Within 14 days of receipt of your return you will be refunded for the amount paid for the goods. Please note no refunds will be given for the delivery cost of returning the unwanted goods to us. All refunds will be credited to the card account used for the original purchase.
Business Customers - If you are returning goods for any other reason than they are faulty, they must be returned to us within 7 days of delivery. For a refund the items must be received by us unopened and in a saleable condition. There will be a restocking fee of 10% or £10, whichever is greater, and delivery and return delivery charges will not be refunded.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law and do not affect any of your statutory rights.
We will not be liable to you where performance of any of our obligations is prevented or restricted by any circumstance or cause beyond our reasonable control.
You are responsible for the use you make of the products you order. To the extent not prohibited by law, we accept no liability for any loss which is not reasonably foreseeable or for any business loss (which includes but is not limited to loss of profits, contracts, goodwill, opportunity and oter similar losses).
We accept liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence that cannot, under English law, be excluded.
